Integration
Add interactive property maps to any WPBakery layout
Interactive Real Estate is fully compatible with WPBakery Page Builder (formerly Visual Composer). Use the Raw HTML element to paste your shortcode anywhere in your layout — the interactive map renders with complete responsiveness.

How to set it up
Up and running in minutes
Create your Interactive Real Estate project and copy the shortcode
Open your page in WPBakery (backend or frontend editor)
Add a Raw HTML element to your desired row and column
Paste the shortcode (e.g. [irep_project id="123"]) and save
Troubleshooting
When it doesn't render
The handful of things that actually go wrong with this builder, and what fixes each one.
The shortcode comes out mangled or encoded
- Why
- WPBakery's Raw HTML element base64-encodes its contents when saving, and some setups decode it after WordPress has already parsed shortcodes.
- Fix
- If Raw HTML misbehaves, switch to the Text Block element and paste the shortcode there. Both work on most installs, but Text Block is the more reliable of the two.
The map disappears after switching editors
- Why
- Moving a page between WPBakery's backend and frontend editors can re-serialise element content and strip characters from raw fields.
- Fix
- Pick one editor and stay in it for pages containing the shortcode. Re-paste the shortcode after any switch, then save.
The map is narrower than its column
- Why
- A parent row has a fixed pixel width or padding applied at a breakpoint where the column has already shrunk.
- Fix
- Set the row to full width and clear fixed widths on the containing column. The map fills whatever width the column reports.
Nothing renders on a page built with an older Visual Composer layout
- Why
- Legacy layouts sometimes carry shortcode markup saved by a much older builder version that no longer matches current parsing.
- Fix
- Delete and re-add the element rather than editing the old one. A freshly inserted element saves in the current format.
