Buyer's guide
What makes a good WordPress real estate plugin for interactive plans?
Most plugins sold as "real estate" plugins are listing directories — they store properties and render them as cards. That is a different job from letting a visitor click a specific flat on a specific floor of a specific building. If that is what you need, here is what to check before you commit.
Real interactivity, not a flat image
A render that buyers can click — floor by floor, unit by unit — keeps them on the page. A JPEG of a site plan sends them to the contact form to ask what is still free.
Your data stays in WordPress
Projects, floors and flats live in your own database as custom tables. Nothing depends on a third-party server staying online, and you can export a project as JSON whenever you like.
Works with your page builder
Elementor, Gutenberg, Divi, WPBakery, Beaver Builder, Brizy. It is one shortcode, so the builder does not need to know anything about it.
Live prices and availability
Mark a flat sold or reserved in the admin panel and the colour changes on the front end. Buyers see what is actually left instead of emailing to find out.
Licensing you can live with
A free tier on WordPress.org, paid plans when you need the advanced features, and a one-time lifetime option. No per-view pricing and no bill that scales with your traffic.
Fast on the front end
One bundle, loaded only on pages that actually use the shortcode. Interactive plans should not cost you your Core Web Vitals.
What you get
Buildings, floors and flats — all inside WordPress
Everything runs from your own installation. The plugin adds its own admin panel and three shortcodes: [irep_project] for the interactive building, [irep_flats] for the filterable unit list, and [irep_360] for the rotating exterior.
Interactive floor plans
Draw SVG zones straight over your render and link each one to a floor, a block or a single flat.
Read more360° building viewer
A spinning exterior your visitors can drag around, with the clickable units following the rotation.
Read moreFilterable flats list
The [irep_flats] shortcode: every unit in a searchable, filterable list with grid and table views.
Read moreFlat status management
Available, reserved and sold each get their own colour on the plan — changed from the admin panel in one click.
Read morePrice history tracking
Show buyers how a unit's price has moved over time instead of a single number with no context.
Read moreSVG polygon editor
Trace units by hand or paste existing SVG. No external drawing tool, no code.

A hosted embed is a perfectly good choice if you never want to touch hosting — it is faster to roll out across many sites. The trade-off is that the content is not yours and the bill never stops. Compare the named alternatives on our comparison pages.
Step by step
How to add interactive floor plans to your WordPress site
Install the plugin
Search for Interactive Real Estate in Plugins → Add New, or upload the ZIP. Activate it and a new menu item appears in the WordPress admin.
Create a project and upload your render
A project is one building, one development or one site plan. Upload the image buyers will click — a facade photo, a 3D render or a masterplan drawing.
Draw the clickable zones
Trace each floor, block or flat with the polygon editor and link it to its data: price, area, rooms, status. Everything is saved in your own database.
Paste one shortcode into the page
Copy the shortcode the plugin generates — something like [irep_project id="123"] — and paste it into a Gutenberg shortcode block, an Elementor text widget, or anywhere your builder accepts shortcodes.
Try it here
This is what one shortcode renders on your page
A seven-storey city apartment building. Click a floor on the facade to open its plan, then pick a flat — the same drill-down buyers get on a real listing page. Click a floor on the facade, then pick a flat — the same thing your visitors do on a real project page.

Demo only — the building, floors and flat data above are fictional.

Read on WordPress.orgThe plugin has few installations, even though it's a damn gem for those who just want to create a neat grid for their objects and manage them natively. The plugin's author is a wonderful person who promptly resolves all issues and implements quick updates. I believe this plugin has a great future.
