Native WordPress block editor support out of the box

Interactive Real Estate works with the Gutenberg block editor right out of the box. Use the built-in Shortcode block to embed any interactive floor plan or apartment map into your WordPress posts and pages without installing any extra blocks.

Troubleshooting

When it doesn't render

The handful of things that actually go wrong with this builder, and what fixes each one.

The editor shows the shortcode text, not the map

Why
The Shortcode block renders a plain text preview inside the editor rather than executing the shortcode.
Fix
Expected behaviour — check the front end or use Preview. If you want an in-editor preview, the plugin also registers IRE Project and IRE Flats blocks you can insert directly.

The map does not appear in a full-site editing template

Why
Some block themes render template parts through paths that skip shortcode processing, particularly in query loops and archive templates.
Fix
Place the Shortcode block inside a Group block within the template part rather than at the template root. If it still fails, the plugin's own blocks render server-side and are unaffected.

The map overflows a constrained content width

Why
Block themes apply a content width to the parent Group, and a wide map inherits it and then overflows.
Fix
Set the containing Group's alignment to Wide or Full. The map is responsive and will fit whatever width it is given.

Only one map renders when two are on the same page

Why
Both shortcodes were given the same project ID, so the second renders identically and looks like a duplicate.
Fix
Give each block a distinct id attribute. Multiple independent maps on one page are supported.
