How to set it up
Up and running in minutes
Set up your project in Interactive Real Estate and note the shortcode
Open your page in Beaver Builder
Add an HTML module to your desired row or column
Paste the shortcode (e.g. [irep_project id="123"]) and save the page
Troubleshooting
When it doesn't render
The handful of things that actually go wrong with this builder, and what fixes each one.
The shortcode renders as text in a Text module
- Why
- Beaver Builder's Text module applies editor formatting that can wrap the brackets in markup before WordPress parses them.
- Fix
- Use the HTML module instead. It outputs exactly what you paste, which is what the shortcode parser needs.
A saved or global row shows an outdated map
- Why
- Beaver Builder caches the rendered output of saved and global rows separately from the page itself.
- Fix
- Open Tools → Clear Cache in the Beaver Builder settings, then re-save the row. Project data is read fresh on each render once the cache is cleared.
The map is cut off inside a fixed-height row
- Why
- The row has a minimum height and overflow constraints, so the map renders at full size but is clipped.
- Fix
- Clear the row's min-height and set its content alignment to top. The map expands to whatever height its content needs.
The map does not appear in a Beaver Themer layout
- Why
- The layout's location rules may not match the page you are testing, so the whole Themer layout is absent rather than just the map.
- Fix
- Confirm the Themer layout displays at all on that URL before debugging the shortcode. Once the layout renders, the map renders with it.
